Everyone sleeps, everyone dreams, remembered or not. I would suspect that each of us has their own interpretation, understanding of what dreams are. Perhaps we remember impressions, or a significant detail within a dream. Some that integrate with our conscious memory of events or happenings during the day. There are some dream interpretations that see a “working out”, of events that may have happened in those waking hours. Dream interpretations, and the psychological meaning embedded within, is a major industry. They are seen as a way to gain access to obscure levels of consciousness. There is no shortage of ideas concerning the meaning and need for the dream state. But what we do know for certain is that it is an essential part of our lives. We cannot exist without entering that state of being.
I have always had an extensive dream life. Some remembered, some as vaguer recollections. Adventures, morphing experiences, way beyond normal waking reality/ encounters. But as of late, the intensity and the “reality” expressed in dreams has intensified. It was time for a consultation with my guides for some perspective and clarity. The synopsis of that session is as follows.
Essentially, dreaming and the necessity of the dream state, is a fundamental requirement of our consciousness, as expressed into this third dimensional existence – which we take as “our reality”. But as we are consciousness, or you can call it the spirit nature that we are, this implies our fundamental reality exists beyond this earth plane / incarnation. In other words, we are spirit beings experiencing this body. This world is our temporary home. It has been said we only have one life, but it is very very long one. And when we step outside of our bodies at night, we step out of the limited nature of our bodies, and attune to our true nature.
In order to maintain that body existence, it is imperative that we regenerate, reintegrate by accessing the etheric realms of existence, our primary residence. In essence we need to recharge in order to maintain the third dimensional illusion of this part of our existence.
We, in sleep mode, access other dimensions of existence. It was termed the “dream dimensional states” or DDS. In our waking dimension, we operate within the linearity of time, and the solidity of matter. As much as we would like, we cannot put a hand through a wall – in most cases without serious repercussions. But in the dream dimensional state, this is possible. And there time is almost meaningless. So, as we are all aware, our dream world is kind of a never – never land that exists between the reality we know, and the environment of infinite potential / experience. We can take thoughts or memories of experience, either conscious or unconscious, which are then “applied” into this dream dimensional state. They become woven into the “creation matrix” of that particular dimension, where we experience them as “real”.
The dreamscape encounter has another “feedback” experience. Active dreams can have an effect on the physical body. The body mind brain and physical body can experience dreams as though they actually happened – not differentiating between what is real and what happens outside of the body. Hence being tired in the morning or perhaps feeling out of alignment. But these can be of a temporary nature and may be in part the result of expanding one’s consciousness in both the 3rd dimension and in the dream dimensional state. Growing pains.
But what is the nature of sleep, dreaming, and dreams themselves. Do they have significant meanings? Is it important or beneficial to analyze our dreams? Symbolism? How do they fit into our daily existence? Can they tell us something about ourselves?
The answer was that they may be beneficial to study or understand at certain times, but that is not their real significance.
We require what is termed REM sleep. It is a necessary integration that is required, that maintains our established connection to realms beyond our third dimensional density. In the sleep / dream state, we integrate with the specific creation matrix of the expanded dimensional density – the dream dimensional state. It is a recharging process – we become whole once again. Then we are able to go back, relatively speaking, to our third dimensional experience. An analogy can the made that we are like a being on land who dives into the water, and can only hold the breath for so long. We are required to come back up for air on a regular basis. Our third dimensional experience is such a dense one, and we as spirit, etheric beings, continually require this reenergizing, a rebalancing process.
The importance, the meaning is in the recognition of our need to reestablish our connection, presence in these expanded dimensional densities. That by recognizing our need to regenerate, recharge our spirit essence, we are strengthening the connection / awareness to our true nature. We are able to grow more fully into who and what we really are. We can become more consciously aware in this third dimensional state. What we experienced as boundaries, begin to melt away. A more expansive and integrated dream dimension is discovered. A harmonious growth takes place in both dimensions, waking and sleep -a two-way street. It becomes another pathway on our evolutionary experience of being.
