A few thoughts about the concept / term trans-dimensional.
Trans-dimensional is one of those all-inclusive attempts at a description of something which is beyond description. The prefix “trans” is defined as: across, beyond, through, traverse, etc. But what is a dimension? It is a subject of speculation in both the scientific world, and the metaphysical world. Even the term “world” needs to be defined in this context. There is our round, moving through space around the sun world. And then a more inclusive one, alluding to the fundamental nature of what our life experience is. In regard to the concept examined here, we require a definition with a broader perspective, and its origin.
How do we choose to observe? A broad term requires a more inclusive vantage point. What is the source of creation? Ultimately, all is pure consciousness. Everything emanates from that self-aware Consciousness. The – I Am that I Am – statement.
Consider a fractal. It is an amazing concept. Each aspect contains the sum of all its parts. Magnifying or expanding maintains a consistency of form. There is a metaphysical concept stating – as above, so below. The earth we experience can be seen as just one expression of a much greater format. A fractal?
In spite of what we see and experience around us, science has discovered that there is really nothing “solid” about solidity. Observe closely and all becomes energy, all becomes vibration, all is frequency. Matter as we know it, is shown to be affected by our minds, our consciousness. And as many have discovered, we are not limited to the confines of our bodies, or the solidity we perceive as our bodies.
What then is a dimension? As beings of consciousness, as defined by the – as above so below – we are able to have multiple observation points. Our world, our dimension is one point we have “established” as a particular observation point. Yet we are capable, and do, experience creation from other vantage points. The dream world is another vantage point. A grain of sand may contain an entire universe. Or we may expand our vantage point to embrace the entire universe. It is within our consciousness to do so. The Bible / Torah states that we were created in the image of God. That is not to say God looks like us. But that each of us are unique aspects of Source Consciousness – individual creator beings expressing ourselves in each moment. A fractal of / within Primal Consciousness.
A dimension is a convenient reference point. Our world is one such point. As we evolve and grow, we have the capabilities, the inherent capability, to change our reference points. To focus in, or out. To realize we are trans-dimensional beings.
