Consider having a conversation with another person. We speak, we listen, we process, we understand, and we respond. This is just our normal state of affairs. If observed at all, we simply recognize it to be how our minds work. But stop for a moment and consider the actual process taking place. In order to experience the spoken word, it requires a great deal of processing power, to use computer terminology. Through intricate mechanisms of reception within our ears, we receive sound vibration. That vibration is turned into an electrical impulse that is channeled to the brain, where a sorting process takes place. Areas of the brain “light up”, and the appropriate neurons are engaged and activated. There to be recognized, analyzed, and processed. This consists of comprehension, a reaction, and a response to be formulated.
Then that electrical signal must activate the proper output system within the brain and the body – which is different from the sound input system. It activates a number of venues – the vocal cords for the voice, facial expressions with muscles, and perhaps an emotional response. And such a potential emotional response can generate simultaneous activities in a number of different body systems. Then vocal cords re-create sound vibrations in highly organized and a recognizable manner. How loud, how soft, how much inflection to deliver? All the while to be receiving visual input, body movement, and an additional set of thought processes running in the background.
Then to be received by another person. All instantaneously. All seamlessly. Simple. Or simply amazing.
Then what could possibly be taking place? It has been said that such interactions, communication, and understandings are only possible because we share consciousness. We are connected to each other and to everything through that prime, underlying nature of Consciousness. As an aspect of Consciousness, in “reality”, our connectedness is happening in another realm / level of existence. To look at that system of sound recognition, and to see it only as a mechanical /electrical, cause-and-effect, stretches the imagination beyond the infinite.
There is a quote from the book of Thomas, from Jeshua – “if flesh came into being because of spirit, it is a marvel. But if spirit came into being because of the body, it is a marvel of marvel”. We, as conscious beings, are derived from the essence of Source Consciousness. This is creation 101 – a spirit being having a body / life experience.
Creation Consciousness expresses itself in highly organized ways. There are recognizable patterns everywhere around us, within us. Each breath we take represents a multitude of intricate, functional manifestations. And we are able to share because we are the Oneness of Unity.
